Connect the Player to Wi-Fi

The media player needs an active internet connection to work properly. Although the player can work offline for some time, it's always a good idea to set up a stable internet connection. We strongly recommend using a wired connection via an Ethernet cable.

If a wired connection isn't possible, you can connect the player to your local Wi-Fi network. Here's how:

1. Connect your keyboard directly to the player's USB port and press Esc or Alt+F4 to shut down the media player.
2. Navigate to the upper-right corner of the screen and locate the Wi-Fi icon.
3. Click it, select the desired network, and enter the password when prompted. The player will remember the network settings and reconnect to it automatically after a restart.
4. You can now safely reboot your player to restart the media player application.

The Player runs a standard Linux desktop and uses NetworkManager for its network connections, so ordinary Linux networking guides apply if you need more advanced configuration.
